Contractor Information

Contractors

If you or your business have been contracted to carry out work at Wagga Wagga Airport, either landside or airside, you must first complete a Site Induction. Please speak to the Airport Facility Manager prior to the commencement of works.

Those needing airside access must display a valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or apply for a Visitor Identification Card (VIC) prior to the commencement of works.

If you need to drive a vehicle whilst airside, there are strict rules that apply.

When arriving at the airport you must notify the Airport Facility Manager or Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) and be inducted on to the site. It is Airport policy that all contractors wear high visibility clothing and appropriate PPE while on site.

Visitors

A Visitor Identification Card (VIC) or Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) must be displayed by visitors when they are in an Airside or secure zone at Wagga Wagga Airport.

If you do not hold a valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) you must apply for a VIC. By completing a VIC application, you agree to the terms and conditions of use of Wagga Wagga Airport.
